Submit Part IV of your application (Personal Writing) – after you have completed the online form, you must submit the Personal Writing section of the application. If you have already completed your essays, you may send them directly to info@nesiya.org, as Microsoft Word attachments or in the body of the email. Please include your full name and the subject “Application Essays” in the subject line of your email. To view the writing topics, click here.

Save your work!

Please note that the online application form may time out if left open for too long. We suggest that for longer questions, particularly those in the Self Assessment section of the application, you compose and save your answers in a separate document, and cut and paste them into the online form. This will also ensure that you have a copy of your work in case you need it at a later date.

Deposit

In order to finalize your application, you must submit a deposit of $250. If this fee presents a hardship, please contact the Nesiya office. Checks or money orders should be made payable to The Nesiya Institute. Nesiya does not accept credit cards. The deposit is refundable only: 1) in cases when the applicant is not accepted to the program or 2) in cases where the participant is unable to participate in the program due to lack of sufficient funding.

Reference Forms

Applicants are required to submit a total of three references: one parent reference and two references from teachers or advisors. The reference forms may be downloaded above. Please obtain your references from adults who know you well.

Optional Submissions

The Nesiya Institute will be happy to receive any additional work or information about yourself. You may wish to send creative work (photographs, slides or originals of art work), writing, or audio/video recordings. Please include a brief explanation of the work. Mail all pieces with a stamped envelope and they will be returned after we review your materials. Please do not send us anything that cannot be replaced, in case it is damaged or lost.

Early and Final Application Deadlines:

Postmark or submit your online application and $250 deposit by:

December 12, 2011 to qualify for a $500 Early Application Discount.
January 12,2012 to qualify for a $400 Early Application Discount.
February 13, 2012 to qualify for a $300 Early Application Discount.
March 15, 2012 to qualify for a $150 Early Application Discount.

The final application deadline is April 16, 2012.
