Tirtzah Bassel (Nesiya Staff Member 2005)

Tirtzah is an Israeli artist based in New York. Her drawings, paintings and site-responsive duct tape installations explore the permeable borders separating public and private domains, specifically in airport security zones, border crossings and public transportation. Tirtzah has exhibited her work nationally and internationally with recent installations created on site in Harlem, New York and El Paso, Texas.

Isadora Stowe (b. 1977) is an American artist whose work focuses on the narrative of family environment translated and coded into complex interior landscapes. Stowe earned her Bachelors of Fine Art in painting with a minor in Cultural Anthropology, and Master’s of Fine Art in painting and drawing from New Mexico State University.

Renana Kedmi Warszawski (Nesiya 2001)

Renana designs and produces bags, other carry items and dolls from a small independent studio. She works mainly with textiles and leather.

A few years ago, Renana found herself with an old, beat-up sewing machine, and some free time on her hands. Looking to explore new turf, she experimented with making bags from scraps and fabrication by-products she found lying around. Anything that fit into the sewing machine was fair game.
