About Staff

Nesiya inspires young people from diverse backgrounds to enrich Jewish life for themselves and others. Nesiya programs bring North American and Israeli youth face to face with the richness and complexity of Jewish life – and with each other – through a unique model of experiential learning that combines community building, creative study, the arts, outdoor adventure, and community service. Every Nesiya program builds relationships and explores differences among diverse Jews in order to develop Jewish leaders and invigorate Jewish life.

This Summer Nesiya is participating in the Buy One Gift One sunscreen campaign for AMIT, an Israeli nonprofit that works with youth around the country. Welcome to Israel!

Shalom, Nesiya 2016! Our North American chanichim have arrived, and we in Israel were so excited to meet them! After a brief greeting and check-in at the airport, the group is now beginning their activities and heading down to the Negev. Stay tuned for more updates!

We are on our way! Our North American participants have successfully arrived and met at JFK Airport, and are about to head through security. The Israeli participants and staff are eagerly awaiting tomorrow, when we get to greet everyone at the airport and begin our excellent summer of programming.
