Employment Opportunities: Communications Associate
The Nesiya Institute seeks a part or full-time English language Communications Associate to work in Nesiya’s Jerusalem office, near Old Katamon.
The ideal candidate will combine excellent writing and administrative skills with good phone communication skills.
Additional preferred qualifications include some or all of the following:
• prior relevant work experience
• one or two degrees
• experience in utilizing the internet for research, maintaining a database, and/or a website
• ability to speak, write, and/or translate from Hebrew
The ideal candidate will be highly committed, flexible, and eager to learn about and contribute to achieving best practices in a dynamic non-profit environment. The responsibilities for the position may include:
• implementing a wide variety of computer-based tasks that are essential to agency’s on-going communication and fund-raising tasks, including database entry and research.
• a range of English-language writing assignments, including correspondence, public relations documents, grant writing and reports, etc.
• phone recruitment of new high school applicants and phone outreach to alumni and supporters
